I had the privilege of spending two days with Open Door Mission, a Houston nonprofit changing lives every day. They trusted us with almost total creative freedom and that trust shaped everything you see here.

With only a short window for pre-production, our small, nimble crew filmed and edited two unique donor-focused videos in under a week. We set out to avoid the typical “addiction to recovery” storyline and instead dug into each person’s personal, unexpected journey—the quiet moments of hope, humor, and humanity that make their stories unforgettable.

The result is authentic, character-driven storytelling designed to inspire donors and show the heart of addiction recovery in a fresh way. I’m proud of how these films capture the Mission’s spirit while feeling intimate and real. - Zach Callaway
