I reached out to Cal Neff almost three years ago to see if he’d be down to let me film him for a new camera test. After too many early mornings of filming with him, his family, friends, and the Houston running community, I honestly can’t say I’m any closer to understanding what drives this man to run as much as he does. What I have learned is that this dude gives his heart and soul to making the Houston running community pretty f*cking special. From putting on long-ass races, to coaching hundreds of people over the years, and everything in between, this guy makes a pretty damn good ambassador for running.
